Kisses from Danish model Line Brems after Shiatzy Chen SS 2016, Paris
Continuing my project with models and lights, here is a series of 19 photos taken during Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 after the Versace, DSquared2 and Missoni shows. This collection of images is different from my previous series “Muses of Lights” in that the models were aware that I was capturing the light. I had less than a minute to capture the images before the girls had to run to their next rehearsal, show or fitting. All taken spontaneously and unphotoshopped, I gave the models some props and simple direction. In the end, all of the girls became active participants in the making of the photos. I am pleased to present a genuine and fun collaboration between artist and muses: Musing with Lights: MFW SS 2016.

American model Avery Blanchard after Max Mara, Prada and Fendi SS 2016, Milan
One of my favorite new personalities in a long time, Miss Blanchard is from Asheville, North Carolina. This is her second full season as a catwalker. Unlike many of the other models (no shade) also walking on the international runways, I find Avery to be delightful to meet in the streets and at castings because of her positive, upbeat and bubbly personality. It shows a gracious young woman who is not just a pretty face.
Started by Damian in 2010, Bonae L’amour is a photo blog that features mostly candid photos of the world’s top agency-represented high fashion models in the streets, on the runways and backstage. He is an unconventional photographer who is more interested in capturing charming personalities than pretty girls with expensive wardrobes. His blog is a celebration of not only external beauty, but also inner beauty illuminated by a smile, a wink, a laugh, a gaze and the story and experience behind it all. Bonae L’amour is followed and viewed by citizens of over 150 countries, who are interested in seeing a different side of the fashion and modeling world. Not simply just the model's street style diary, it is the cult go-to blog for the fashion-obsessed to find raw inspiration in the models, their beauty and street style.
